About Virago Wellness: Here at Virago Wellness, we specialize in providing client-centered, relational services for the unique mental health needs of women and those who identify as female, in addition to taking into account how intersectional identities (BIPOC women, LGBTQIA+ women, women of religious or ethnic minority status, women who are other abled or non-neurotypical) impact mental health. A relational approach builds a true connection with clients, allows for intentional self disclosure of lived experience where it benefits the client, and nurtures the therapeutic relationship. We provide a relational approach to therapy and employment, offering our employees the support and resources they need to be inspired to do their best work.
Our Mission is to educate, support, and empower women to reclaim their lives and heal from their difficult life experiences and mental health concerns. We offer collaborative care for clients to empower them to engage in the healing processes as experts on their own lives supported by the knowledge, resources, and clinical excellence we can provide.
