I help women heal from the lasting effects of abuse, neglect, and assault using EMDR therapy. I work with women in Maine and New York who struggle with low self-worth, difficult relationships, anxiety, and panic—especially when those struggles stem from harm caused by others.
Through EMDR healing intensives and other trauma-focused approaches, I help women reprocess painful memories, reduce the weight of the past, and reconnect with their confidence and sense of self.
As someone with my own history of complex trauma, I know firsthand how disorienting and overwhelming the healing journey can feel. EMDR was a turning point in my own recovery, and it’s an honor to walk alongside other women doing this brave work.
Healing from trauma is hard, but the relief, clarity, and freedom waiting on the other side are absolutely worth it. You deserve that.

I’m an EMDR certified therapist and EMDRIA Approved Consultant. I utilize EMDR to support women in reprocessing traumatic memories to heal from the things they lived through or experienced in order to lead happier and healthier lives today. My areas of specialty are complex trauma, recent event protocol, and EMDR in group settings.
In order to become an EMDR therapist, professionals have to complete over 6 days of basic training, an additional 12 hours of continuing education, 20 hours of consultation, demonstrate mastery of the model, provide EMDR to 25 clients, seek 30 hours of consultation, and provide 3 letters of recommendation from other licensed professionals.

I started in the mental health field in 2009. I’ve worked in residential, wilderness therapy, outpatient, and school-based settings. I shifted my focus to women’s mental health in 2014, and founded Virago Wellness in 2019.
I was trained in EMDR in 2021 and am certified in EMDR, and EMDRIA approved Consultant, and Facilitator for Trauma Recovery EMR HAP.
I am Certified Clinical Trauma Profession with additional training for treatment Complex-PTSD
I’ve completed additional training to utilize parts work (structural dissociation) and somatic approaches to support people with more complex trauma and attachment challenges.
